Chewy disco nuggets

I’ve been described numerous times as being camp…
I was once told by the receptionist of a place I used to temp in Manchester that I was a ‘gay man trapped in a woman’s body’… (we can take this as gospel as he spent the weekends dragged up as Bet Lynch down Canal Street)…
I got the DJ to play Freda Payne’s Band of Gold (a song about divorce for those not in the know) at my cousin’s wedding reception…
But why?
Well, because I LOVE disco.I also love really vicious electro, which is why I am so pleased I stumbled across these remixes by Chewy Chocolate Cookies and DJ Jim (I know the name sounds like a local pub karaoke DJ but he’s actually Russian so maybe he can get away with it…) of an already great track from Buy Now. The track is called Body Crash, and it actually came out a while ago.
Buy Now is a project of The Swedish House Mafia, in other words Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. They’re both playing at Creamfields this weekend, if I was going I’d probably go and check them out - they’re both exceptionally fit.
Anyway. Here’s what Buy Now originally sampled, ’Lets All Chant’ by Michael Zager Band – check out the moves. Do you see now, disco is the best!
I can’t decide which version I like more…
Buy Now - Body Crash (Chewy Chocolate Cookies Remix)
Buy Now - Body Crash (Dj JIM Mash-Up mix)

It’s great seeing how amazingly wrong wordpress can be sometimes. Also, who the hell blogs about that stuff? Crazy.
