Welcome to the first EVER Silly Sunday!!
Woohoo!! We’re a very excited bunch here at WANARB. Today is the first in a weekly feature that is going to leave you dazzled and amazed! (Maybe).
Silly Sundays is all about bringing you stupid tunes and videos that no other blogs would DARE to touch. Expect to download some very random stuff in the months to come, such as music and videos from computer games, cartoons, TV intro themes, national anthems and any other weird and pointless stuff that we like. Wow.
So what to post first then? Well, to kick start Silly Sundays it’s got to be none other than the Super Mario Bros music. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t heard at least one of these tunes – they are the stuff of legend. The composer of the Original Super Mario Bros on the NES goes by the name of Koji Kondo and is responsible for composing music for the likes of Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox 64, Pilotwings and many more. He’s a hero.

I also stumbled across ALL the tunes to Super Mario Land for the Game Boy. The music for Stage 1 is below, followed by a zip file that has ALL the music and most of sound effects from the game, including the likes of ‘Boss Battle’, ‘Coin Room’, ‘Bonus Chance’ and even ‘Mario Down’!! I simply cannot put into words how excited I am.

Hello. I happened upon your site while I was searching for something else. While I don’t agree with everything you say we do have similar thoughts for the most part. I’ve bookmarked your website and will visit again in the near future to see what you are writing about in 2010!
