London, Hyde Park, Saturday 16th June 2007 was possibly the best day ever, and whilst some things from that day haven’t continued to be awesome, there are two things that have, the first being Daft Punk, and the second being LCD Soundsystem.

2007’s tremendous album ‘Sound of Silver’ was arguably the best album of 07 and still holds its own nearly three years since its initial release, now James Murphy and Co are back. Yes!

Bye Bye Bayou is a remix/cover of Suicide’s 1980 track. It’s very casually funky, in the vein of Chk Chk Chk (!!!) and the vinyl drops on Nov 12th. The new album should be out some time in March 2010

Maybe we can now start a ‘Daft Punk & LCD Soundsyetem to play Wireless 2010′ rumour? Nah, that’ll never happen…
