The Krays ft Ebony Bones
Lucky me has just got back from Springfest, a sweet-ass electronic music festival in the heart of Austria. It’s probably one of the best festivals I’ve ever been to, and that’s not only as it’s situated in Graz – hometown of a certain Arnold… there was even a stadium named in his honour, but there was some sort of drama when he didn’t go and see it and then they got rid of the Schwarzenegger bit, or something.
On the bill there was a whole plethora of names and all the big European techno labels were generously represented. Gigolo, BNR, including Yuksek, who is, of course one half of The Krays with fellow French DJ hero Brodinski. Also on the bill was the gorgeous Ebony Bones, who is best known for playing gobby cow Yasmine on doomed Channel 5 soap Family Affairs. I fucking loved that show and I fucking love this monstrous remix of The Kray’s track ‘We’re Ready When You Are’ by Clashes.
