I’ve been a fan of Bassnectar (Real name Lorin Ashton) for a while now, I love his amalgamation of Hip-Hop, Electro and Dub-Step and was well aware he’s made some fat beats, however I hadn’t heard his latest track ‘Wildstlye Method’ (from the forthcoming ‘Wildstyle EP’) until just now, when I spotted it nestled amongst all the other emails in our inbox.  Oh. My. God. This is pure filth at it’s finest, just wait for the drop! What’s even better is that he’s offered it as a free download!

Lorin has been destroying dance floors all over America for a while now and will be making a quick stop in the UK for a five date tour starting with Fabric on 12th November. Check out the video below to get an idea of the madness of a Bassnectar show. There’s no way I’m missing that… Shit looks beyond epic! The Wildstyle EP is released 19th october 2010 on iTunes and Bassnectar.net, I can’t wait!
