God! why am I awake and why is it so bright?

Felix Da Housecat

Morning! God it is actually morning but what a beautiful morning and the fact that I can sit outside and blog away to my hearts content in the sun makes it all the much better. Its certainly helping to make me feel better, slightly!

So what to listen to while I’m sat out here in my garden, in the sun, trying to annoy my neighbours at this early hour? Probably should be laid back house but it won’t. Its going to be rocking, confused, electro-house from Felix the Housecat’s Essential Mix that went out  yesterday.  After the awful unessential mix from last week that was Laidback Luke (laidback luke isn’t normally that bad, I’ve seen him live at Chew the Fat and he rocked the place), Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Eric Prdyz, this week’s essential mix is a welcome relief  and a return to form.

Felix Da Housecat, in case you didn’t know has been around for fucking ages and is one of those legendary Dj’s that refuses to slip away with an army of fans worldwide. First making waves on the scene back in the 1990’s with his definite Chicago House style, he has evolved with the changing times which is reflected in album releases, whereas Kittenz and Thee Glitz was a pure electronic album he describes his new album, “He Was King” as ‘Felix Da Housecat pop and electro’.

Anyhow enough talk click the linkage for Felix Da Housecat mixage. As a bonus, the tune ‘Silver Screen Shower Scene’ from the Album Kittenz and thee Glitz and a track from his new album “He Was King” that will be available from August the 25th.
