Acoustic Bicycles

Don’t let a T-Shirt with ‘Ass’ written on it put you off. Bombay Bicycle Club are back with a new album, and if you haven’t realised, its an acoustic album of sorts. It features a cover or two, acoustic workings of a few tracks from their fantastic debut ‘I had the blues but I shook them loose’ and some new tracks. From light and summery, to dark and broody, it’s what I believe to be an album which shows a band mature and wise beyond their years, a sharp contrast in views of some mean, angry, jealous critics who’ve nothing better to do than slate other peoples efforts in a bid to make up for their own inadequacies.

I’ve included two tracks from the album below, and will echo my mate Lammy’s view that he voiced when we saw them at Offset last year “they’re the new Radiohead”. Fingers crossed
