Prepare to get Acid Washed

Tomorrow (17/09/10), Acid Washed are releasing their eponymous 12″ jam-packed with a bucket load of remixes from The Hacker, Mickey Moonlight, DANGER, Daniel Haaksman, Digikid84, Lazy Flow, Jungle Fiction and Stuff. It’s coming out on Record Maker (grab it here) – a label that I am swiftly growing fond of since the release Kavinsky’s mega-slow motion ‘Nightcall’ earlier in the year.

Acid Washed have been steadily building a stream of admirers from all corners of the globe (including ourselves) and with this, their signature track about to drop on us, more recognition seems a mere inevitability. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard the other remixes yet – but I can’t wait to hear the Mickey Moonlight mix – he’s taken time out from finishing his debut album to contribute to this – and I have no doubt that it’s ace.

Anyway – we have a mix from DANGER to give to you. It’s a dirty electro-edged disco stomper that eases you into a false sense of security with its extra long ‘end of the night’ style intro, only to drop with some badass beats. Whoever Danger is/are, I would like to hear more from them after this showing.
