Blockhead

Punks Jump Up release their mighty ‘Blockhead’ on Kitsune today – and it’s set to blow! The song itself has been around for a year already. Originally it was created as a remix of Zongamin‘s ‘Azzaza’, but it never managed to get released. Knowing that the track was way too hot to never see the light of day, Punks Jump Up and Kitsune decided to re-make it, removing all traces of Zongamin but sticking to the script with the main hook.

Punks Jump Up personally sent us the track last summer, and it’s been a staple part of our sets ever since. I asked Dave personally whether we could blog it back in September – but he told me something big was coming out of it and asked me to keep it under wraps.

I’m not sure whether I prefer the new version better than the old version – but it’s still undeniably a MASSIVE choon. With a bunch of massive remixes, one of which you can grab below! Pow.
